EcuTek Bench Programmer

The EcuTek Bench Programmer (EBP) is a device which allows programming/unlocking specific ECUs on the bench. These ECUs require particular signals that only the EBP can generate.

How to use

  1. Connect the EBP to the PC using the supplied USB cable

  2. Connect the EBP to the supplied power adapter

  3. Connect the power adapter to the mains

  4. In ProECU, select Tools > Bench Programmer Tool

  5. Select the ECU to program

  6. Connect the ECU to the EBP, using either:

    • An ECU-specific bench programming cable.

    • A breakout cable, connecting individual wires to the ECU pins.
      To see the required connections, click the Help button.

  7. Perform the required operation (for instance, Unlock)

Power output is OFF.
Power output is ON (voltage is being supplied to the ECU).
Overload or short circuit detected

* This led will also be OFF when the STATUS led is OFF.
