BMW information

All BMW ECUs need to be unlocked before they can be programmed with ECU Connect.

There is an unlock solution for almost all models.

On some cars and model years, the ECU must be taken out of the car by the tuner to unlock on the bench.

Very recent ECUs can only be unlocked by specific tuners and the ECU must be physically shipped to them for this purpose. The ECU will be unlocked and shipped back to be reinstalled in the car.

Once the ECU is unlocked, it can be reprogrammed unlimited times.
