Nissan Z

The new Nissan Z uses the VR30DDTT engine as its power plant, it can be tuned similarly to the other VR30 software except there may be some extra care needed while tuning for the addition functionality used in the new platform.

These include specific things such as

  • Torque converter lock up - to re engage the torque converter after flashing you ay need to disconnect the battery negative for 1-2 minutes then reinstall it. Then drive the car in auto mode drove up to 60km/hr (40mph) you should be able to then enter manual mode and it allow you to complete a full pull properly on the dyno.

  • Launch Control on auto and manual cars - Manual cars have OEM maps for stationary rev limit etc further development is required to fully understand this and create an adjustable feature
